Can I be a Host in both Harvest Hosts and Boondockers Welcome?

Updated over a week ago

Harvest Hosts and Boondockers Welcome are separate memberships because they offer two different types of boondocking. Harvest Hosts offers overnights at places of business, such as wineries, breweries, farms with products to sell, attractions, and golf courses. Boondockers Welcome offers overnights at private residences.

Private residences are eligible to host with Boondockers Welcome. Businesses with commerce are eligible to host with Harvest Hosts.

There are a few location types that might seem to fall in between those designations, such as a home set on acreage that may operate as a hobby farm. The deciding factor in these instances is if you have commerce opportunities (things to sell) for visiting members.

If you are not sure which membership you should apply to host with, contact us by clicking on the Chat/Help bubble at the bottom right corner of our website and one of our Host Success agents will be glad to help you make that determination.
