Can I share my membership?

The membership belongs to the person (or family) and not the RV. So, if you have 2 RVs, you can use it with either RV, just not with both RVs at the same time.

Sharing a membership between family members, however, can be a little difficult. Here are some things to think about.

  1. LOGIN - In order to see/search for Hosts on our Host Map, you have to log in to the website. You would have to share your login information.

  2. AGREEMENT - We are serious about our member Code-Of-Conduct. EVERY FAMILY MEMBER using your membership must read and agree to this Code of Conduct.

    We have found that members really need to pay for the membership themselves so that they will respect the Code-Of-Conduct. If they aren't paying and are not in jeopardy of losing the membership, they don't have the same incentive to follow the rules. If you do share, you will need to clearly explain all of the rules so they do not earn you a bad review.

  3. MEMBERSHIP CARD - Your name will be on the membership. 99% of Hosts will probably never ask for an ID but there might be a few that do.
