How it Works
Sign Up/Get an Address
This service is an add-on to an Escapees membership. You can sign up for Mail Forwarding during your Escapees membership purchase or if you are already an Escapees member, you can contact the Mail Service directly to sign up.
Join the Escapees RV Club
Visit the Escapees for an Escapees membership or Harvest Hosts website for an All Access membership that includes Escapees.
Click Join Now at top right.
Complete the registration process by entering your information and paying the membership fee.
Once your membership is active, locate the "Escapees Mail Service" section on your account dashboard and set up the service as per the prompts.
Set up the Mail Service
To enroll, you must be an Escapees RV Club member. You can sign up online or by contacting the service directly. As part of the process, you'll need to complete USPS Form 1583, which must be notarized, to authorize Escapees to handle your mail.
Choose your level of Mail Service.
Category A: Forwards all mail types.
Category B: Forwards selected mail types.
Category C: Offers custom mail sorting. Annual fees range from $110 to $150, depending on the chosen category. A one-time enrollment fee and a postage deposit are also required.
Once your Escapees or All Access membership is verified, log into your account through the website or app to begin the enrollment. This will guide you through completing the necessary forms and selecting preferred setup options like domicile state and mail categories.
Once signed up, you will be assigned a personal mailbox number and street address in your chosen domicile State. You can have your mail sent there. When you're ready to receive your accumulated mail, you can request forwarding to your current location via phone, email, or online. The service forwards your mail the next business day using the most economical method unless you specify otherwise.
You can use your Escapees Mail Service address in Texas, Florida, or South Dakota as your residence address for legal purposes, including driver's license and voter registration.
Manage Your Mail
Use our online tools or app to request forwarding, hold mail, or view scanned items. The Mail Service app, available for mobile devices, offers users an easy way to manage their Mail Service on the go. Through the app, members can also access FAQs, review account settings, or troubleshoot common issues.
For an additional fee, the mail scanning service allows you to view scanned images of your incoming first-class mail envelopes online. You can then decide whether to have each item forwarded or securely destroyed. Content scanning is also available upon request.
Escapees RV Club and Escapees Mail Service are two separate companies. In July of 2024, Harvest Hosts acquired the membership portion Escapees RV Club including events, education, and the magazine. Escapees Mail Service remained under the original ownership and is an exclusive benefit for Escapees members.
