Photo Guidelines and Best Practices

Technical Requirements:

  • Accepted file types: JPG or PNG

  • Maximum file size: 10 MB

  • Minimum resolution: 700px x 500px

  • Recommended Orientation: Landscape

Image Composition Guidelines:

  • Use high-resolution photos - most smartphones and cameras have high-res capabilities

  • Ensure uniform resolution and size for all pictures

  • Capture different perspectives of your host location

  • Include scenic views of parking areas

  • Highlight unique amenities or landscapes

  • Showcase your location's most attractive features

Best Practices:

  • You should have a minimum of 5 photos

  • We recommend at least one photo showcasing a campsite.

  • Additional photos should feature any amenities you want to emphasize or other unique aspects of your campground.

  • Your cover photo is your chance to captivate potential customers. Many campgrounds opt for an aerial drone shot or showcase a popular amenity.

  • Demonstrate site accessibility

  • Include any onsite special facilities or attractions.

  • Minimize background clutter

  • Avoid personal photos, close-ups of people, or unrelated images.

  • Avoid photos of nearby attractions; only upload photos of your specific property.
