Discount and promo codes are a great way to save on your Harvest Hosts membership, but their applicability depends on the type of membership and the timing of your subscription. Below is a comprehensive guide to understanding how discounts work for new memberships, renewals, and upgrades.
Availability
Harvest Hosts offers a range of discount coupons and promotional codes during seasonal and special sales, as well as for special status users, such as veterans. These codes may provide percentage-based discounts, fixed-rate deductions, or promotional credits.
Eligibility
New memberships: Discounts & coupons are typically only valid for the first year of new memberships. For example, codes such as INVITED15 may offer a discount on the initial subscription fee.
Membership renewals: Discounts & coupons do not apply to membership renewals. Any discounts or coupons applied in the first year of a membership are removed at the first-year renewal.
Membership Upgrades: Coupons or promotional discounts cannot be applied to membership upgrades as current members automatically enjoy discounts built into the upgrade process. When a current membership is upgraded, the upgrade discount will replace any other coupon codes previously attached to your membership.
Reactivations: We periodically offer special discounts as an incentive for cancelled members to reactivate their membership. For members to receive this discount, they must use the special link provided within the reactivation email they receive. Other discounts or coupons from current new-member promotions cannot be added for reactivations.
Restrictions
One per subscription - Coupons or promotional discounts cannot be combined, as only one can be applied to a subscription at a time.
Sales - Seasonal or promotional sales are valid only during the sale period. These discounts do not extend to future upgrades or renewals made outside the sale period.
Membership Upgrades: Coupons or promotional discounts cannot be applied to membership upgrades as current members automatically enjoy discounts built into the upgrade process. When a current membership is upgraded, the upgrade discount will replace any other coupon codes previously attached to your membership.
Reactivations: Canceled memberships are only eligible for discounts offered in email communications and can only be activated by clicking the reactivation link withing that email.
Expiration
Promotional Coupons and Discount Codes applied at purchase are valid for the first year of membership and will be removed on the renewal date.
Applying Coupons & Discount Codes
If you have a coupon or promotion code, you can enter it during the signup process on our website, HarvestHosts.com. After you enter your name and email address and create a password, you can enter your code at the top of the next page.
You can click on any discount coupon codes that might be displayed at the top of the page in the purple banner to automatically copy the coupon code into your clipboard.

Be sure to click the Apply button beside the Discount Code input field. Promo codes should immediately update the displayed price onscreen when applied correctly, giving users clarity on the final cost.
App Purchases: We cannot offer coupons or promotions on purchases made through our app, as they are processed through your device's app store.
Verifying the Discount
Once the Coupon or Discount Code is applied, the membership price will be adjusted on the screen during sign-up.
If you want to remove the coupon you have applied, click the red Remove button above the Apply button.
Coupons & Apple App Store
Coupons and promotional discounts can't be applied to, or refunded on, Apple App Store purchases, since Apple handles all billing and invoicing for those. To use an active discount or coupon code, you'll need to cancel through Apple and rejoin via the Harvest Hosts website. For access to promotional offers going forward, we recommend purchasing directly through the Harvest Hosts website.
Troubleshooting
Verify the Coupon or Promotional Code - If you have difficulty applying a coupon or promotional discounts during signup, please verify that you are using a valid coupon and that you have entered it exactly as presented. Coupons and Codes are case-sensitive. We recommend copying and pasting them exactly as they appear on the promotion or webpage.
No Discount Applied - If you entered a coupon or promotional code but the discount was not subtracted from your payment, please contact us. Click the green chat bubble at the bottom right of the pages on our website to provide us with your email address and the coupon code that you entered.
Apple Store Purchase - Our coupons and promotionals disocunts can only be applied to new memberships that are purchased directly through HarvestHosts.com. Coupons or promotions cannot be added to a purchase from the Apple App Store as these transactions are handled directly through Apple.
FAQs on Coupons & Discount Codes
Can I apply a discount code retroactively? - No, discount codes cannot be applied to past payments or renewals. However, some codes may be added for future renewals.
Can I use a discount code for reactivating a membership? - Reactivations are billed at our standard pricing. The only exception is a reactivation discount sent directly to you by text or email — if you have one, it's applied automatically when you check out using the link in that message.
