To search along your route, you can use our Trip Planning feature. Choose a starting and ending location (and anything in between), and we will plot the route of your Trip on the map and display Hosts along the route.
We have provided multiple ways to search for a Host or Campground location.

To search for Hosts along a specific Trip Route you would like to travel, click in the top search box and then on the Plan Trip option that pops under the Search Box.
Choose a starting location or use your Current Location.
Choose an ending location.
Add more Stops to your Route. The best way to make sure our map stays on the course you want to take is to plot your trip on our map by adding the specific cities along the way of the route you desire.
Set the Route Radius. Move the slider to set how far off the route you want to see Hosts.
Save Your Trip so you can go back to it at a later time.
Click the Show Hosts button at the bottom to plot your Route and view hosts along the way.
Here is a sample Trip Route search terms plotted on the Discover Map.
Click on any location you have entered in the Trip Route to replace it with another destination. Add as many locations as you need to plot the specific Route you want to travel. You can delete the last stop on the Route by clicking the "x" to its right.

Tap on the Search or Plan Trip box at the top of the Member Dashboard that loads after you log in.
Choose Plan Trip at the top. Then enter the Stops and Radius, then click the Show Hosts button.
Choose Start Location
Choose End Location
Add Stops
Set the Radius from Route that you want to see Hosts
Click the Show Hosts button.
Add a starting point (or use Current Location).
Add an ending point.
Add more Stops to your Route.
Click the Show Hosts button at the bottom to plot your Route and view hosts along the way.
Pro Tip: The best way to make sure our map stays on the course you want to take is to plot your trip on our map by adding the specific cities along the way of the route you have picked. Adding specific cities along your Trip route will keep you on the route you want.
Here is a sample Trip Route plotted on the Discover Map.
You can tap the 1) Show List button at the bottom of a Planned Trip Route to switch to a List of Hosts along the route. You can also 2) Save the Trip.
If you are on the Host List for a Trip Route:
Click the Show Map button at the bottom to return to the Planned Route on the Map.
Tap the Save Trip to save this Trip for future use.
Click the X in the Route Box at the top to clear the Trip Route and start over.
