The Stay Requests that you have made with our Hosts through our online Request A Stay system can be seen, their status checked, and they can be canceled on the website or the app.
Some Hosts only accept Stay Requests by phone or email. Stay Requests made directly with these Hosts will not be tracked within our Stay Request System.
IMPORTANT: If you have signed up for one our events, such as Escapades, Bash, or a Campout, and need to change your reservation, please contact the event directly by replying to the event registration email or using the contact information contained in ththat email.
Website
After you have logged in, choose Stays > My Stays from the top menu. Here you will be able to see your Stays in the following categories at the top of the page: Pending, Upcoming, Awaiting Review, Past, and Canceled. Your Upcoming Stays will load by default.
Please note: Requests made by phone, email, or text will not appear in this list.
Changing Dates for a Stay Request
Members can now also edit the dates of an approved Stay Request directly in the Harvest Hosts system, as long as your calendar shows availability. Hosts will be notified of Stay Request date changes.
Restrictions
Members cannot edit their stay dates within two days of arrival. If the stay is within two days, the Member will be unable to make changes in the system and must contact you directly to request adjustments.
Host Opt Out
Hosts can opt out of this feature.
How to Change Dates for a Stay Request
Choose a Stay Request, then click the Change Dates button.
Choose new dates for your Stay Request, then click the Change Dates button.
Add a reason for the Date Change in the box provided, then click the Change Date button.
The Host will be notified of the change in dates for your Stay Request.
Canceling a Stay Request
If you need to cancel your request, click on the appropriate Stay Request Card. Click on the Cancel button at the top of the Stay Request Details page. Add a note in the box that pops up. Then click the Yes, Cancel Stay button.
Your Upcoming Stays list will only populate Stays that have been booked through our online Request A Stay system. If you book with a Host who prefers to use email, phone, or text, these stays will not populate here, as we have no way to track them.
Mobile Web & App
To find your stays, tap Stays at the bottom of the home screen.
You will be able to view your Pending, Upcoming, Past, and Cancelled Stay Requests by clicking on the appropriate category under the page title - Stays. Tap and drag the category row to reveal the full category list. This page defaults to your Upcoming Stays.
Please note: Requests made by phone, email, or text will not appear in this list.
Click on a Stay Request Card in the list to view the details of that Request.
On the Stay Request details page, you can see all the details you need about the stay, whether it has been approved or is pending, get directions to the Host’s location, message the host, view the Host's profile, and even cancel the request (scroll to the bottom of the page).

Hosts may decline stay requests for various reasons, such as outdated calendars or other preferences. If your request is declined, try with other hosts or dates. Always wait for your stay request to be approved before arriving at a host location. This ensures the host is available and ready to accommodate you, and you receive any special instructions. Once your stay is approved, use the internal messaging system or follow the communication instructions provided on the host’s profile to finalize details.
