From our Host & Campground Map, users can see and search for our Hosts and Campground Partners using filters to find just the right location. We also surface current Escapee Events on our map.
Hosts & Campground Partners
The Map is where you search for Hosts & Campground Partners by name, location, and route using filters that help refine the results. You can center the map on your current location, zoom in and out, overlay various map layers, view live Host locations on the map in the form of pins, view Host Cards by clicking those pins, and see a list of Hosts represented on the current map view in the left column.
Escapee Events
Escapees Events now appear on the map by default as orange calendar icons with a star. They are always visible and cannot be filtered out via Host Type, Campground Partner, Dates, or Map Layers. Icons automatically disappear after the event ends. If registration is open, clicking the event icon opens the event page, which includes a link to reserve a spot.

Search Bar - Enter your search criteria by name, location, or by Trip route.
Filters - Choose many filter types to refine your search to just show Hosts that fit your needs.
Navigation & Layers - Overlay map layers, such as terrain and satellite, show dump stations or cell phone coverage or weather, center the map on your current location, and zoom the map in or out.
Host Pins & Cards - Click on a Host pin to reveal basic information on a Host Preview Card. Click the Host Preview Card to see the full Host Profile.
Host List - Scroll through all the hosts represented by pins on the current view of the Host Map.
Pro Tip: You can collapse the left column that contains a list of hosts from the viewable area on the Discover Map. Click the arrow icon at the top left corner of the Map to collapse this column to provide more viewable space on the Map.
Pro Tip: You can re-open the Host list by clicking the arrow and Show List icon that remains in the top left corner of the Map.
