Boondockers Welcome

THE HOST ROUTE TO SUCCESS

Have fun and enjoy hosting! The number one reason given for hosting is the social

aspect of meeting new people that come directly to you. Many hosts report forming

lifetime friendships as the result of being a host.

  • As a Host, you may provide one to five (1-5) consecutive overnight parking stays at NO CHARGE for Boondockers Welcome members.

  • You may charge a fee for additional nights, electricity, water, or other hookups, but these charges may not be mandatory and must be disclosed in advance. Fees for all hookups should not exceed $15 per night.

  • All hosts are required to carry general liability insurance and have the legal right to use their property for RV parking purposes.

  • Your location must be available to host at least 100 out of 365 days for each twelve month period; and maintain at least a 35% acceptance rate of guest stay requests. Boondockers Welcome corporate office must be alerted

should you sell your property or move locations.

  • You agree to receive reservation requests through our online reservation tool (Request-A-Stay or RAS). You will receive stay requests via email or SMS text message. In order to receive the notifications, you must maintain a subscribed email and active phone number.

  • Please Approve/Deny stays relative to your stay request timeline preferences. For example: if you require two days advance notice for stay requests, you should reply within two days. If you do not approve your member stays we will reach out to you to confirm your desire to host.

  • Please treat members with courtesy and respect. Profanity is not allowed in your listing, on our website, or in member communication.

  • Hosts may not use a member’s personal information for any purpose unrelated to the stay requested. Privacy laws prohibit the sharing or distribution of any personal information to outside sources.

  • Members leave reviews based on their stay experience. If we receive concerning reviews we will reach out to you first via email. If we find that you are in breach of the host code of conduct we will issue a warning letter. If you continue to act in the same manner after having received a warning letter, or the issue is egregious, your hosting ability and program membership may be terminated.
