Hosts often send the same message to members shortly before each stay, but now hosts have the opportunity to automate and templatize the information they wish to share the day before and the day of the stay.
Why set up scheduled messages
Saves you time
Sets clear expectations for Members
Makes hosting easier
What to include
When setting these up, keep in mind that this information is MOST important upon arrival and would likely be beneficial to the arrival or check in instructions. If you need to know their ETA, this would be a great place to ask that. These messages are released at 10:30am local time either the day before or the day of the stay, respectively.
You may also notice some suggested language in one or both of these text fields. We drafted these based on your message history of what you typically send if a pattern was noticed. Just review them, make any edits, and turn on the ones you’d like Members to see. You can always add your own, too!
To get started:
Sign in to your Host Dashboard
Go to the Messages tab
Click Schedule in the top left corner
Edit or add your On Approval, 1 Day before Arrival, and Day of Arrival Messages
Set each Message to Send Automatically
