Boondockers Welcome Hosts have the ability to offer Extra Nights built into their hosting process as this is a core benefit off the BW program. The Extra Night feature is for Hosts with Harvest Hosts as they are only required to offer 1 free overnight but can choose to offer Extra Nights.
Harvest Hosts
If you have Extra Nights turned on for your Host Profile, members will be able to request more than one night at your location based on the setting that you choose.
How it works
HH Hosts can now offer an Extra Night(s) Stay to our members. These extra nights can be for a fee or other criteria that you set up on your Host Profile. We will direct members to message you using the Additional Comments in the Stay Request for if they want to confirm your availability for Extra Nights in addition to their first free night. We also ask them to contact you in the Message Center to confirm if Extra Nights work for you.

Setting it up

Log in to Hosting Dashboard
Log into your Harvest Hosts membership on the website or mobile website. There are four ways to get to the Extra Night preferences.
Where to locate Extra Nights
Click on Host Profile in the top menu > Click on the Sprocket & choose Extra Nights.
Click on Host Profile in the top menu > Click on the Update Extra Nights button.
Click on Host Profile in the top menu > Click on the Manage Extra Nights button in the Extra Nights section.
Click on your Name/Photo in the top right of the website > Choose Host Settings from the drop-down menu,
Follow these steps to Offer Extra Nights:
Click on the toggle to Allow Extra Nights.
The toggle will turn purple when activated and a list of options will appear below it.
Choose the number of Extra Nights you are willing to offer to members after the initial night of the Stay.
Add Details about the Extra Nights so that members know what to expect.
Add any fees you would like to attach to the Extra Nights that you are offering.
Click the Save button at the bottom to save your Extra Nights Preferences.
Member Stay Requests
When a Member requests Extra Nights, they will be shown to you in the Stay Dates section at the top of the Stay Request details page.
Turning it off
Turning off Extra Nights is as simple as clicking the toggle again, which is displayed grayed out again, and the Extra Nights Preferences will disappear.

BW Hosts have always been able to offer multiple-night Stays to our BW members. When a BW member requests a multi-day Stay, BW Hosts receive one Stay Request for the entire Stay to approve or decline.

Setting it up
Click on your name/photo in the top right of the website and choose Host Settings from the drop-down menu. Then choose Stay Preferences from the left menu.
In the Maximum Number of Nights section, choose how many total consecutive nights you are willing to host our members.
Be sure to click the Save button at the bottom to save your Stay Preferences.
