We have map layers that provide additional information to overlay on our Discover Map along with our Hosts. These Map Layers can be accessed by clicking or tapping on the Map Layers icon just below the Filters rows on the right side of the Discover Map.
Types of Map Layers
Map Types: Street, Terrain, and Satellite
Convenience: Dump Stations
Cell Coverage: Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, US Cellular
Weather: Temperature, Precipitation, Wind.
Pro Tip: Be sure to scroll inside the window to see all four categories of Map Layers.
How Map Layers Work
Toggle the Map Layers on and off by clicking/tapping on them. When they are activated, they will have a solid line around them. Tap again to deactivate a Map Layer.
Click the X at the top right of the Filter to view the Discover Map with the new Map Layer(s) overlaid.
NOTE 1: If you are not logged in, only the Map Type layers will be available.
NOTE 2: Dump Stations are not visible on the Map until the Map is sufficiently zoomed in.
